The Departure of Ideas
On Friday, April 25, 2025, the Baghdadi Cultural Center and the Mutanabbi Pioneers Cultural Forum held a seminar entitled “Departure of Ideas” in Hussein Ali Mahfouz Hall on Al-Mutanabbi Street, featuring Dr. Shakir Kitab.
The session provided a concise cultural and enlightening overview of ideas and cultural systems among various peoples, focusing in particular on religious, philosophical, scientific, and sporting cultures.
During the discussion, participants outlined and compared cultural differences, aiming to explore methods for analyzing and understanding diverse cultural and intellectual perspectives. The seminar concluded with a Q&A session, where attendees posed and answered questions related to the topic.
